Unfortunately for us, my family is unable to use our reservation in the
old house of the Old Faithful Inn this August, so we would be willing to
transfer it to someone else who can use it.
The reservation is in the old house, which means no bathroom in your
room, instead you have to go down the hall. The reservation is for four
people from Aug 11 to Aug 26, fifteen nights. It can be modified. The
cost is $95.40 per night, and we have put down one night*s deposit,
which would need to be reimbursed before the reservation is transferred.
If anyone is interested, let us know in the next week, otherwise we
will just cancel it.
There are only about five of these rooms, (lots more smaller ones) and
as far as I know, they all look out on Geyser Hill. If you are lucky and
get the corner one, it also looks out on Old Faithful. We really love
these old rooms, but they are kind of rustic and the bathroom is down
the hall.
I hope someone can use our reservation, while we stay home back on the
east coast and do things like work and go to school.
Best.
