Thanks, David! We experienced the same problem, and suggest that such
photos should be posted on a website somewhere instead of sent through

There is no reason to post pictures that are over 1Mb in size. For
viewing
on most monitors, jpegs less than 200kb are more than adequate. In
fact,
for most of what we are sharing 100kb is more reasonable. Large file
sizes
are needed if you plan to print the picture or need to zoom into fine
detail but they are not needed on the geyser list. For those of us that
are still on dial-up, these large files are a disaster. I waited over
90
minutes for todays mail to download. I found the pictures interesting,
but
I would have appreciated them more if I hadn't had to wait.
Please watch your file sizes. If this continues to be a problem, more
Draconian measures may be taken.
