[Geysers] The big oops

Just wanted to thank all of you who replied. We're moving in the right
direction and have contacted (or tried to contact) all the places
mentioned in emails sent to us.
Interestingly, no one responded on the Yellowstone Country Inn --
for the sake of interest, it seems to have some nice amenities including
a hot tub, but they ask for the *entire* amount up front, paid through
PayPal. This is the first time I've encountered this policy anywhere in
the area in or around the park, and I found it a little creepy (brought
to mind an occasion when AmFac was operating out of Aurora, CO, and
managed not to refund a $300 charge made against our credit card -- that
represented the first-night charge for a high end room in the Inn, but
when our reservations changed, they neither applied it to our new
reservation nor refunded it. If we hadn't tracked it down on our charge
statement and spent 6 weeks agitating, we would have been out that
money. Charging the entire stay this far in advance is scary, in case
they were to just forget to refund the money through PayPal if we had to
cancel...) Maybe this is why they still have rooms available 4th of
July week despite the fact that they're on the web and accessible.

Step out of Thy holy chamber, O Maid of Heaven... Drape thyself...in the silken
Vesture of Immortality, and put on, in the name of the All-Glorious, the broidered
Robe of Light.
