[Geysers] Identification question

Scott, I first saw Africa in the year the photo was taken, 1976.  We have
photos that are very similar in angle and general appearance.  

 

BTW, thanks for the updates on Giant.  It does like weekends, doesn't it.

I am now established in Oro Valley, AZ, but having to use my old dial-up
connection and the DSL modem I had with Verizon in CA apparently won't work
here with Qwest. Nuts.

 

Anyhow, having worked at Norris in 1974 when Africa Geyser was active, I
must say that I do not recall it erupting at the sort of angle shown in the
photo. The general location does seem right for the geyser to be Africa, but
other aspects seem wrong.
