[Geysers] Old Faithful walkers

These statements are not entirely true.  At this time there are about 60
people living in the Old Faithful Area.  Most of them are contractors
working on the Inn (about 40) but they would be WORKING at this time of day,
not on the cone.  Xanterra has 4 people living in the area, all working for
maintenance, and 2 of them are currently out of the Park on vacation.  There
are NPS wildlife researchers in the area as well as the full time
Interpretive, Maintenance, and Law Enforcement personnel.

 

Elitist abuse?  Come on.

    I would, (and will,) call the super's office and ask for an explanation.
Is this a research project or just elitist abuse?  There are also
contractors working on the Inn - also Xanterra personnel are now opening
stores and such.  Thanks for the heads-up!
