Sorry this report is so late. This is all from my book--I did not get a chance to look at the VC logbook. I know that some of this has already been reported, but I did have some (somewhat random) notes on geysers other than Giant for June 3-6.

Little Squirt was seen at 1912 i.e. on 6/6.

Here is a list of Beehive eruptions:

6/2 @ 1134 (Ind. 1123)
6/3 @ 1132 (Ind. 1121)
6/4 @ 1059 (Ind. 1047)
6/5 @ 1105 (no Indicator)
6/6 @ 1142 (Ind. 1126)

On 6/5, Sue Schroeder was the only gazer at Beehive when she saw an enormous splash. The radio call as we heard from Grand was, "Beehive just had a very large splash...almost like it was going to erupt without the OH MY GOSH!!!!! Beehive is erupting without the Indicator!!!! Beehive, no Indicator!!!!" There were screams of delight mixed in as well; however, I heard reports that visitors in the VC thought that maybe the caldera was exploding, and the rangers were concerned that someone might have been hurt. Fortunately, there was no damage to anything--Sue got her no Indicator Beehive, that's all.

The "Beehive Bubbler" was active before all of the eruptions, but for highly variable periods of time; it had been active for only about 30 minutes before the no Indicator eruption on 6/5, but was active for over 2 1/2 hours before the eruption on 6/6.

Several small geysers in the area known as "The Dwarfs" were quite active, both Memorial Day weekend and last weekend. I saw at least 4 different features having eruptions to as much as a foot or two, on intervals of a few minutes.

Due to the amount of time that I was spending in the Giant area, I didn't have much in my book for Depression, Lion, or Aurum.

After being in series for much of Memorial Day weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), Dome was not active at all from June 3-6.

After having normal eruptions over the weekend, Castle minored on 6/5 at 1033ns. It followed with a major at ~1545 (vr). The VC predictions were once again thrown off by a minor around 0530 on 6/6. The major followed at 1036.

I saw Slurp erupting on 6/4 at 1402ie, but I don't know what the duration was. Uncertain was seen on 6/5. I don't know if it was ever reported that, after numerous Tardy cycles, Penta erupted on 5/29 at 1348ie.

The intervals I had in my book for Grand for 6/3-6/6 were: ~6h29m, 6h47m, 6h49m, ~7h06m, 6h38m, ~7h11m, ~9h23m, and ~6h15m. For that solitary 9+ hour interval, there was an eruption of Rift just short of the 8-hour mark.

I only unusual behavior I saw at Grand was on 6/4. While waiting on the benches, I had noticed some small bubbling in the area of the Sputniks. Then, just before Grand erupted, its pool was very full and having waves. West Triplet started at 1458, and about the same time, two vents up against the hillside began to erupt together for about a minute. The water was so muddy that it was almost black, and the height was 1-2 feet. The vents stopped erupting as abruptly as they had started; they were finished by the time Grand erupted at 1500.

I wasn't very good about keeping track of Daisy; the only closed intervals I have in my book are: 2h53m on 6/3; 2h58m and 3h24m on 6/4; 3h22m on 6/5; and 2h29m, 2h12m, and 3h14m on 6/6.

Oblong had variable intervals. After an interval of at least 9 hours on 6/3, Oblong had intervals of ~3h43m and ~4h35m on 6/4. I was out of the basin for much of 6/5 so I don't have any closed intervals. On 6/6, the intervals were ~4h53m and ~5h15m.

In case anyone is curious, yes I had a few words with Fan & Mortar, but they rolled over and went back to sleep. I never spent more than a few minutes there, but Angle was usually splashing--creating a nice little patch of dark algae in front of its vent. Bottom Vent must be active occasionally, because I saw water sitting in its runoff channel two times when it had not rained recently.

On 6/3, Fountain had an interval of 7h54m. Then on 6/5, it had an interval of 6h35m, followed by an interval of over 8 hours (it erupted sometime after dark). I saw Morning's Thief have large eruptions (20-30 feet) with each of the Fountain eruptions that I saw.

I made a quick trip through Pocket Basin on 6/5. I did not see anything erupt, but the mudpots were in good form. The mudpot at the northeast end which has at times acted cyclically did not appear to be doing so, though it had a nice thick consistency so maybe later this summer. I also did not venture beyond Pocket to the Fortress area due to time constraints.

That's all I've got; I'll try to do better next time.
