My, my...where has the time gone?  I was brought up short today when I realized that I hadn't posted this year's geyser carol yet.  I realize that many people are anxiously waiting this year's installment, so I send you the following with all best wishes from your gazing buddy, Steve Gryc.   It's a long one this year, so take a deep breath.....

THE TWELVE DAYS OF GAZING

On the first day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
A dual eruption of Anemone

On the second day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the third day of gazing 
What wonders did I see:
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the fourth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the fifth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the sixth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.


On the seventh day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Seven gazers muttering,
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the eighth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Eight cauldrons boiling,
Seven gazers muttering,
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the ninth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Nine mud pots roiling,
Eight cauldrons boiling,
Seven gazers muttering,
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,

On the tenth day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Ten hot pools gleaming,
Nine mud pots roiling,
Eight cauldrons boiling,
Seven gazers muttering,
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,
And a dual eruption of Anemone.

On the eleventh day of gazing
What wonders did I see:
Eleven vents a-steaming,
Ten hot pools gleaming,
Nine mud pots roiling,
Eight cauldrons boiling,
Seven gazers muttering,
Six sputs a-sputtering,
Five Sisters Springs,
Four Lion cones,
Three Purple Pools,
Two bursts from Grand,

On the twelfth day of gazing

Twelve tourists screaming,
Eleven vents a-steaming,
Ten hot pools gleaming,
