Thank you to everyone who has sent their sympathy and included us in your
prayers. Once the immediacy of deailing with arrangements for the funeral
service, etc., has passed, I will respond to each of you individually.
In the meantime--Those of us driving long distances had good driving
conditions. Family will be flying in this weekend and out of Tuesday, but
it sounds like weather breaks will be sufficient such that there won't be
problems.
For those of you checking news on-line, Erin decided not to run the obituary
in the Bozeman Chronicle until Sunday and Monday. She will also have it
placed in the Omaha newspaper, since Jeff grew up in Omaha, but I'm not
certain when that will run.
I don't have the branch, or the address, or the exact name on the account,
but one of Jeff's friends is setting up an account for Cassidy and Connor at
Big Sky Western Bank for people who wish to make donations. The details
will be in the obituary.
Information for people who might be thinking about attending the service:
Some people have asked for this information, and I'm using the geyser
listserv as the most efficient means of getting it out, similar to a
telephone tree. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in Bozeman at
Doffin-Nelson funeral home. There will be a reception following the service
at the First Lutheran Church, which is, I think, just across the street or
down the block from the funeral home.
Viewing at the funeral home will be from 2-4 on Sunday afternoon (with
members of the family present) and from 4-6 without members of the famly.
Again, thank you all for your support.
Lynn
