[Geysers] Geyser Update 1/26/05

All,

 

Not much to report here.

 

Fan and Mortar erupted overnight 1/23-1/24

 

Giant is still having good hot periods at least once a day.

 

Hillside Geyser (West Thumb) was reported on 1/20.

 

Rumor has it Occasional Geyser at West Thumb was seen in eruption to 35 feet
on 1/19 by an NPS Interpretation Ranger.

 

Middle Three Sister in the Myriad Group is active.  It was dormant in
December.  On 1/26 it was erupting every 12-20 minutes.  The eruptions were
a single burst reaching from two to five feet.
