[Geysers] Geyser Report 1/15/05

Plume continues to erupt at 60-80 minute intervals.

 

Beehive might be broken.  The last one seen was on 1/07.  Over the past
several days it has not changed in appearance-all the small sputs around the
cone are active and there is decent splashing, but no eruptions and nothing
from the Indicator.

 

Sawmill continues to dominate the group.  Snow around Penta and Churn
indicate they have not gone in at least a week.

 

Grand was (N/T2*Q) today.  Of late we are seeing more 2 burst eruptions, but
it has also tossed in a few 10-12 hour intervals.

 

Oblong is being seen 2-3 times a day with intervals of 4-9 hours.

 

Based upon melted snow around the platform, Giant is having at least one
good hot period a day.  Many smaller ones have also been seen.

 

Daisy every 2-3 hours, depending on wind

 

Riverside every 5.75 to 6.5 hours

 

No major eruptions from Link

 

According to the VC log, Fan and Mortar last erupted on 1/9.  Every day we
are seeing at least one event cycle, but of late F&M have taken to erupting
at night.

 

Artemisa was seen today.

 

White is very active in the Myriad Group.

 

Fountain has been seen regularly by coach drivers

 

Rumor from Norris is there is a large ice cone around Guardian Geyser.  I
hope to get there in the next few days.
