There are two very conspicuous conical hot springs within a few dozen yards of each other along the steep eastern bank of the Firehole River in the River Group. Cone Spring and the more northerly Horn Spring hardly erupt, but both spit water a few inches above their picturesque cones. Cone and Horn springs may be considered perpetual spouters.
